Claire is a radical goddess from outer space. The daughter of a mad scientist and a violinist, she has an endless fascination with the intersections between random objects, performance, and electronic music.   As a DJ she is known for her unique underground sounds and creative style of mixing that reflects her quirky sensual nature.  A Friday resident at Laïka, she plays regularly across Canada and has also played in the United States, Germany, and Japan.  Claire brings a hypnotic intensity to the stage that reverberates her deep passion for rhythm and sound.  This has led to her being invited to perform at notable spaces and places like the Evolve Festival, Subtonic NYC, the Soundwave Music Festival, System Soundbar (Toronto), Open Studios and Lotus Soundlounge (Vancouver), Air (Tokyo), and Piknic Electronik.  Some of her most memorable moments: playing the sunrise set at Evolve (2004), the pre-Evolve tour (2005), opening for Tipper at the Jungle Room in Victoria, BC (2008), opening for Frivolous at Salon Daome (2010),  and playing a 3.5 hour extended hybrid DJ/Live set with Stefny Winter as SWACK at Piknic Electronic (2011).  

For 2012 Claire will be unleashing several productions for the world to hear; so far she has confirmed upcoming releases with Archipel and Lost Land Records, a new label based in Italy.  This is undoubtedly the beginning of a promising career for Claire as a producer, and a continuation of her already renowned reputation for delivering memorable performances and quality sounds.
